The Built Environment Archive is an open online archive of over 7000 Arabic news reports on Egypt’s built environment, going back to 2013. The focus is on projects such as government housing, urban upgrade and renewal, new cities and services. The archive also chronicles deprived communities especially those suffering from inadequate housing, infrastructure and transportation links.
The archive is searchable through over 900 tags and is updated regularly.
